“I like so many grew up in a dysfunctional, chaotic home. Where I witnessed a lot of mental, emotional and physical abuse, so I was always unsure of everything. With survival being at the center of my families priorities, I never truly felt seen, until my high school art teacher taught me how to paint and told me that I had an natural artists eye. It's amazing where a little bit of encouragement and attention can take you. I will always be grateful that I was blessed enough to have a teacher like Mr. Escobar".
Shannon's artistic journey, has been shaped by a nomadic upbringing and a commitment to endless learning. Creating Art serves as a meditative outlet for managing her ADHD and tempering her perfectionism.
Born in Kansas City, Missouri and after decades of living in Southern California, she is now embracing a new and simplified way of life in Idaho with her husband and two dogs. Where they just completed building an Art Studio and Gallery where her work hangs until it finds it's way to completion at it's forever home.
